Purpose of the Association

The purpose of the European Barbecue Association is to promote international cooperation in the field of grilling and barbecue culture and to develop and support events, competitions, projects and new formats.

The EBA connects ambitious BBQ teams, event organisers and commercial partners. It promotes international exchange, supports joint projects and creates opportunities for cross-border cooperation.

The EBA cooperates with existing national BBQ organisations and respects their responsibilities and structures. At the same time, it provides teams and event organisers from countries without an established national BBQ association structure with access to an international network.

Europe is the starting point of the EBA. However, the network is also open to ambitious teams, event organisers and partners from other parts of the world.

This description reflects the connection between BBQ teams, event organisers and commercial partners, as well as the international openness of the platform, as provided for in the association’s statutes.
