Making European Competition BBQ more visible.
We make teams and their activities visible. We tell their stories, showcase their achievements and goals, and connect them with organisers, events and industry partners. We encourage exchange across borders and provide access to our network, our platform and our practical experience. Events and shared projects are central to our work. They are where teams meet, learn from one another and build new relationships. The EBA supports existing events, connects national and international activities and contributes to new formats where there is a clear purpose, committed participants and genuine potential for development.
Business and industry partners are part of this network. We do not see them merely as sponsors, but as active contributors who can bring products, expertise, resources and ideas into practical projects. Our focus is on partnerships that create clear value for teams, events and partners alike.

The European Barbecue Association (EBA) is an independent platform for BBQ teams with international ambitions. It brings together people who want to shape BBQ actively, develop their skills and look beyond national borders. We do not see ourselves as a traditional umbrella organisation, nor do we seek to govern the BBQ scene centrally. Our role is to make connections possible, open doors and support real activity. We connect teams, events, expertise and partners wherever collaboration creates practical value.
What matters to us is not which country a team comes from or whether a national BBQ association already exists there. What matters is international ambition, a willingness to exchange experience and the commitment to contribute actively to a growing network.

Our Vision
A Platform for Teams - With or Without a National Association
The conditions for BBQ teams vary considerably from country to country. Some countries have established national associations and a well-developed event landscape. In others, new communities are only beginning to emerge. And in some countries, there is still no national BBQ organisation at all. The EBA recognises these different starting points. Where national structures exist, we respect their work and are open to cooperation as equal partners. Where they do not exist, ambitious teams should still have direct access to an international network. Through the EBA, they can gain visibility, build contacts, exchange experience and develop connections with events, projects and partners.
Our platform does not end at Europe's borders. Teams from other parts of the world that want to present themselves internationally, build relationships with the European BBQ community and showcase their work on our platform are equally welcome. The EBA combines its European roots with a clearly global outlook.
